LARGE CLASSICAL-STYLE CUP IN LIMOGES PORCELAIN (FRANCE), DECORATED AND FINISHED BY THE A. ROTONDO WORKSHOP (ITALY) (20th CENTURY) The piece stands out for its sumptuous cobalt-blue glazed porcelain body and its lavish gilded ornamentation, particularly the impressive central band of openwork filigree. The front features a gallant or romantic scene inspired by 18th-century Rococo paintings. The piece bears an original label with the A.ROTONDO logo and the text “Ressemble d’Ancien Production Limoges.” The base is stamped with a crowned heraldic coat of arms, the monogram “AR,” and the signature “A.Rotondo.” Dimensions with lid: 43 cm in height.
