71 - "CHERRIES" (2016)
"CHERRIES" (2016) Watercolor on paper This work stands out for its rich color palette, contrasting the intense greens and yellows of the background with the hues of the cherries. Also noteworthy is the artist’s use of the paper’s natural white areas to simulate the fruit’s natural sheen and the light filtering through the leaves. Signed by the artist in the lower right corner (Jimenez). Titled and dated on the reverse. Framed in a white badera frame with a cream-colored mat and acrylic glass. Dimensions with frame: 49 x 39.5 cm
