229 - Year XIII infantry lighter, likely from the gendarmerie, with a brass guard stamped with “H” and “VERSAILLES” and the serial number “3”; flat blade stamped with: “L,” “B” in a circle surrounded by a chain, and “B” in a circle surmounted by a star with two dots on the side; the back is signed: “Manufre Royle du Klingenthal février 1816”; leather scabbard, two brass fittings; the pommel retains its yellowed buffalo leather loop; length 76.5 cm. (A few pinholes on the blade). It is presented with a light infantry sword strap made of white thread (damaged at the top).
