Materials: Wood, brass, tortoise hued marquetry, gilt-bronze mounts, enamel dial. Cataloger Note: Antique Louis XVI-style Boulle mantel clock featuring an architectural case with elaborate gilt-bronze figural and foliate mounts, scrolling ornament, and a shaped pediment. The circular dial features Roman numeral hour markers and ornate hands, set within a decorative gilt-bronze surround. The case is decorated with contrasting marquetry in the Boulle style, incorporating tortoiseshell-style ground and brass ornamentation. Includes a matching decorative base. Top: L: 26" x W: 12" x H: 16.25" Clock Frame: L: 18.5" x W: 7.5" x H: 30" Clock: D: 8" Good antique condition. Patina to bronze accents. Clock needs service ran momentarily.
