LIP Himalaya Automatic Calendar Men's stainless steel wristwatch with full calendar. - Dial: Black, signed LIP / HIMALAYA, with “Calendar / Automatic” above the date window at 6 o’clock and “BESANÇON FRANCE” at the bottom. Applied Arabic numerals. Two white sub-dials: day of the week at 9 o’clock and month at 3 o’clock. Gold/bronze baton hands, large central seconds hand with a red tip. “SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL” inscription on the flange at 12 o’clock. - Case: Round, polished steel with a correction pusher at 2 o’clock. Transparent screw-down case back revealing the movement, engraved around the edge with “FABRIQUÉ À BESANÇON - HIMALAYA 1954 - ACIER - 50M” and numbered ⁠671588⁠. - Movement: Automatic, oscillating weight engraved with “LIP / 26 RUBY BEARINGS / BESANÇON FRANCE.” - Strap: Brown perforated “rally” style leather with light-colored topstitching, steel pin buckle. Diameter: approx. 40 mm Condition: Good overall condition, minor scratches from normal wear on the bezel and case. The watch was functioning at the time of appraisal; a service is recommended. Sold without box or papers.
