Copy of Gian Lorenzo Bernini (Italy, 1598–1680) “Anima,” Italy, 19th century Carved white marble bust. The original work, which is paired with a female bust known as the Animas, is among the artist’s most important early works. A recent study by David Garcia Cueto, a professor at the University of Granada, based on unpublished documents, reveals that the Animas are actually a faun and a nymph. Height: 53 cm
