He is flanked by the Virgin Mary and John the Baptist, as well as the archangels Michael and Gabriel in a posture of supplication. In the upper row: the Annunciation, Christ’s Descent into Hell and the Old Testament Trinity. In the lower row, prophets and saints: the Prophet Elijah, Saint Athanasius (?), Saint Cyril, Saint Nicholas, Saint Catherine, Saint Paraskeva and Saint Barbara.
