PENDULE *: Switzerland, circa 1950–1960 (Zenith), In the style of a Neuchâtel pendule. Tapered black wooden case with floral gold decoration, gold-plated feet, and decorative moldings. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic 5-minute markings. Blued steel hands with a applied brass sun motif. Round 8-day movement with lever escapement, central winding. Hour and half-hour striking mechanism on a bell. Marked on the dial: “Thürler à Bern, Zenith.” With console H: 68 cm, W: 28 cm, D: 12.5 cm * The hammer price is also subject to VAT. - Some flaking of the gilding as well as minor imperfections in the black finish of the wooden case.
