HERMÈS: "Birkin Bag 40" handbag, 2001, Timeless style crafted from dark red Clemence leather. Trapezoidal shape with two short handles. Silver plated palladium hardware, closure with a central lock button and side sliders, protective feet, and a clochette with a lock and keys. Leather lining in the same color with two side compartments, one of which has a zipper. Embossed on the left clasp and stamped on the leather as “Hermès Paris” and “Hermès Paris Made in France,” respectively. Inside of the right clasp features blind-embossed “22 X” and “E” within a square H: 29 cm, W: 40 cm, D: 21 cm Edges show slight wear in places. Auction end time: November 4, 2026, 12:35 p.m.
