Notable bellows, 19th century, blackened wood, wine-red leather (restored) with brass fittings. The bellows body and nozzle are extensively carved on all surfaces, featuring, in part, fully three-dimensional depictions of grotesque faces, a knight, two men emerging from cornucopias, and other typical historicist motifs. On the reverse: a large grotesque face with an open mouth serving as the intake valve. The nozzle valve is shaped like a devil’s head. Slightly worn; minimal wear. Mechanism functions properly. Total length: 77 cm
