Monastic work, with an icon of the Black Madonna at the centre, finely painted, inscribed with Greek abbreviations for ‘Mother of God’, approx. 10.5 x 6.5 cm, framed behind glass in a box, 25.5 x 22 cm, label on the reverse from an art dealer, Czechoslovakia, with price; accompanied by a handcrafted ex-voto or Sacred Heart of Jesus, sheet metal, silver-plated, with filigree border decoration, a crown of flames at the top, and the initials PRG (Per Gratia Ricevuta - ‘for grace received’) applied, Height 24 cm
