Estate collection featuring 3 Expressionist artists, including Max Mayrshofer Max Mayrshofer, 1875 - Munich - 1950, Figures in the Landscape, oil on panel, 10.5 x 11.5 cm, signed, inscribed on the reverse, framed; Anonymous artist, French Park with Walkers, oil on painting board, 32 x 26 cm, framed; and Monogrammist, Moss-covered Tree Trunks in the Forest, oil on canvas, 30 x 22 cm About the artist: Mayrshofer began his artistic training in 1890 at the School of Applied Arts in Munich. From 1908, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Seitz and Marr and at Anton Ažbe’s private school. He soon became a graphic artist for *Die Jugend*, *Der Simplicissimus* and *Hyperion*. From 1919, he continuously led the evening life-drawing classes at the Academy. In 1925, he was appointed professor.
