Lutz Beyering, five “3 D-Ziton” pieces - framed and glazed, signed. Object boxes Lutz Beyering, born 1948 in Bocholt - lives and works in Ratingen, German advertising specialist, artist & writer, shown here: 5 x “3 D-Ziton” object boxes: ‘Dis-Kettenhund’, ‘Techno-Chicken’, 2 x ‘Lite Ratten’ & ‘The Boss’, 2 x 44 x 34 cm / 3 x 54 x 44 cm, all boxes identically framed and glazed & marked E.A. (épreuve d’artiste) and signedAbout the artist: Lutz Beyering has been active in advertising and marketing since 1969. He has worked both in industry (Desowag-Bayer, Atlas Copco, Rosenthal) and in advertising agencies. From 1979 to 1982, he taught as a lecturer at the Ruhr School of Advertising in Essen. The hallmark of his artistic practice is communication between people; telephone notes form the basis of his work, and ‘Ziton’ is simply ‘Notiz’ (note) backwards. Underlines, hatching and doodles give rise to witty ‘Zitons’, as seen here in 3D, where writing errors are transformed into astonishing ‘object-Zitons’.
