Castello Great Line Old Antiquari Rusticated Briar Tobacco Pipe, Unsmoked Castello Old Antiquari tobacco pipe from the Great Line series, featuring a deeply rusticated black finish on the bowl and shank. The bowl exhibits a freehand, plateau-style rim with natural briar texture, while the interior chamber remains clean and unused. A smooth briar strip along the underside of the shank provides a surface for the manufacturer marks. The pipe is fitted with a tapered black acrylic stem featuring a single white bar inlay. Included with the pipe are the original brown rectangular box, a tan protective pouch, a yellow protective pouch marked 50 Di Carlo Scotti, and a printed pamphlet from the manufacturer. Marked on the underside Great Line, Made in Cantu' Italy, Castello, and Old Antiquari with a K4 stamp; the stem is marked Hand Made Castello. 6 3/8" L x 1 7/8" W x 3" H. 17B CONDITION: The pipe is in excellent, unused condition with no evidence of charring or residue in the bowl. The rusticated finish is crisp and well-defined across the entirety of the briar surface. The polished rim shows no signs of heat damage or wear. The acrylic stem is free of tooth chatter or oxidation, maintaining a high-gloss finish. The original packaging shows only minor shelf wear consistent with storage.
