Castello Briar Wood Old Antiquari Great Line Tobacco Pipe, Unsmoked Castello tobacco pipe, Old Antiquari series, in the Great Line model shape. The pipe is constructed of briar wood featuring a deep, rusticated sandblast finish in a light tan to orange-brown tone. The bowl is carved with a craggy, organic texture extending to a thick, upward-curving shank. The mouthpiece consists of a polished black acrylic or vulcanite stem in a tapered bit profile. The pipe is accompanied by its original textured brown presentation box, a tan suede-like drawstring bag, a yellow cleaning cloth, and a printed certificate of authenticity in German and Italian. Marked on the underside of the shank Castello, Old Antiquari, Great Line, Made in Cantu Italy, with an oval Carlo Scotti logo. The stem is marked Hand Made Castello. 6 1/2" L x 1 3/4" W x 2 1/4" H. 3C CONDITION: Excellent, unused, and unsmoked condition. The briar bowl and rim are clean with no charring or residue. The polished black stem shows no oxidation or tooth marks. The original cardboard box shows light shelf wear and rubbing to the exterior edges.
