Castello Briar Tobacco Pipe With Dated Silver Band, Unsmoked Castello briar tobacco pipe in a bent billiard form with a smooth finish displaying flame grain and birdseye patterns. The pipe features a decorative silver-plated band at the shank junction with a ribbed texture, bearing an embossed castle logo and the year 1997. The black acrylic stem is inset with a white bar and is marked on the side Hand Made Castello. The shank is marked on the underside Castello over Castello, Made in Cantu Italy, and an oval mark containing the name Carlo Scotti. The piece is accompanied by a two-part textured brown cardboard box, the interior lid of which is marked Pipa Castello, Carlo Scotti - Cantu (Italia) alongside a castle trade mark. 5 3/4" L x 1 1/4" W x 2" H. 2B CONDITION: Excellent, unsmoked condition. The briar bowl and acrylic stem show no signs of use or wear. The silver-plated band exhibits light, even tarnish and minor surface discoloration consistent with age and long-term storage.
