Castello Briar Wood Great Line Collection Tobacco Pipe, Unsmoked Castello Great Line Collection tobacco pipe featuring a large, hand-carved briar wood bowl with a highly figured straight grain and a natural plateau rim. The pipe is designed with a broad, flared bowl and a thick shank. The stem is constructed of black acrylic and features a decorative inlaid band of dendritic landscape stone bordered by thin black rings. The shank bears multiple impressed marks including a square containing three K characters, the words GREAT LINE, CASTELLO COLLECTION, and MADE IN CANTU ITALY. An oval stamp reads CARLO SCOTTI and is accompanied by a script signature for Carlo Scotti. The stem is stamped HAND MADE CASTELLO. The pipe is accompanied by a brown textured cardboard presentation box with the interior lid printed PIPA CASTELLO and CARLO SCOTTI - CANTU (ITALIA). 6" x 1 3/4" x 2 3/8" 2B CONDITION: The pipe appears to be in unused, excellent condition with no visible charring to the bowl interior or tooth marks on the stem. The briar wood surface retains a high-gloss finish with no observable scratches or dings. The presentation box shows minor shelf wear at the corners but remains structurally sound.
