Castello Preziosa Briar Tobacco Pipe with Agate Shank Extension, Unsmoked Castello Preziosa tobacco pipe featuring a polished briar bowl with a plateau craggy rim and straight-grained finish. The bent billiard form is accented by a decorative shank extension of banded light blue and white agate. The pipe is finished with a tapered black stem. The original presentation box is included, featuring a maroon suede-textured exterior with a hinged lid marked 1947 and 1987 flanking a castle logo. The cream-colored interior is signed in red script Carlo Scotti. The lot is complete with a branded polishing cloth and a printed guarantee card. Marked on the underside CASTELLO II PREZIOSA II above a Carlo Scotti signature. Additional marks include a square stamp containing the numbers 5 and 0, an oval mark containing CARLO SCOTTI, and MADE IN CANTU ITALY. 2B CONDITION: Excellent, unsmoked condition. The briar bowl and agate extension show no visible surface scratches or marks. The black stem retains a high-gloss finish with no tooth marks or oxidation. The presentation box shows minor scuffing to the suede exterior corners and edges. No visible defects or losses to the polishing cloth or guarantee card.
