Castello Collection Occhio di Pernice Briar Tobacco Pipe, Unsmoked Castello tobacco pipe in a bent Dublin shape, featuring a polished briar bowl with a warm reddish-brown finish. The wood grain displays a combination of flame and bird's-eye patterns. The pipe is fitted with a tapered black acrylic stem featuring a white bar inlay. The shank is stamped on one side with a rectangular cartouche containing CASTELLO over COLLECTION, above the words OCCHIO DI PERNICE and the number 550. The underside of the shank features an oval stamp reading CARLO SCOTTI and the letters US. The opposite side of the shank is stamped MADE IN CANTU' over ITALY. The stem is stamped HAND MADE over CASTELLO. This lot includes a red suede-like presentation case with the Castello logo and a Carlo Scotti signature, a yellow branded polishing cloth, and original documentation. 6 1/2" L x 2 1/4" W x 2 1/2" H. 2B CONDITION: The pipe appears to be in unsmoked, mint condition. The briar bowl shows no signs of charring or residue. The acrylic stem is free of tooth marks or oxidation. The polished finish on the wood is intact with no visible scratches or dings.
