Alfred Dunhill Amberflame DR 6 Briar Pipe and Presentation Set, Unsmoked Alfred Dunhill Amberflame DR 6 briar pipe. The smoking pipe is a bent Dublin shape featuring a high-contrast amber-toned straight grain and bird's-eye briar finish. The black stem is set with the signature white dot logo. One side of the shank is stamped AMBERFLAME MADE IN ENGLAND 01. The reverse side is stamped XL followed by an oval containing the d logo above the word dunhill, with DR and the numeral 6 inside a flame or drop symbol positioned below. The set includes a black leather drawstring storage pouch and a care pamphlet titled Alfred Dunhill The Mark of Supreme Excellence. The lot is presented in its original black leatherette-covered box with gold-tooled borders and a cream satin-lined interior. A black and orange adhesive label on the side of the box reads ALFRED DUNHILL AMBER ROOT MADE IN ENGLAND, with handwritten notations SPFLA 1 and XL. An outer black cardboard sleeve marked ALFRED DUNHILL LONDON is also present. 3" x 8 1/4" x 4" 20C CONDITION: Excellent, unsmoked condition. The pipe displays no charring to the bowl interior and no tooth marks or oxidation to the stem. The briar finish is lustrous without significant surface wear or scratches.
