Pipa Castello Bird's Eye Maple Mini Chest of Drawers Pipa Castello mini chest of drawers in the Directoire style. The case is constructed with highly figured bird's eye maple veneers on the top, side panels, and drawer fronts. Dark hardwood banding, possibly mahogany, frames the primary panels and forms the base and top edge molding. The four drawers feature finished edges and are fitted with single polished chrome spherical knobs. The chest rests on a flush base with a slight arch at the front and sides, terminating in bracket feet. Marked on the underside with a paper label. 12 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W x 9 1/2" D. 20C CONDITION: The chest is in excellent condition with a high-gloss finish throughout. Very faint surface scratches are visible on the top surface and base consistent with gentle handling. The drawers are clean and operate smoothly.
