The cap and barrel are constructed from white Meissen porcelain, featuring a hand-painted cobalt blue underglaze "crossed swords" logo on the cap surface. The grip section, clip, and trim are composed of platinum-coated metal. The rhodium-coated 18 karat gold nib features scrollwork engraving and the number 4810. This piston-filler model includes a black lacquered wood presentation case, outer card sleeve, and service guide. The cap band is engraved MONTBLANC - MEISTERSTÜCK and the clip ring features a serial number. A label on the outer packaging is printed with the identification number 106071 and Made in GERMANY. Box: 2" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" Location: 8D CONDITION: The pen is in excellent, near-mint condition. The porcelain barrel and cap show no visible chips, cracks, or surface scratches. The platinum-coated trim, clip, and grip section retain a high-polish finish with no visible brassing or pitting. The rhodium-coated 18K gold nib is straight with no signs of wear, ink staining, or misalignment. The black lacquered wood presentation box shows no significant scuffs or losses to the finish.
