Winston S. Churchill Ink on Paper Royal Alexandra Infirmary Bazaar Autograph Winston S. Churchill (British, 1874-1965). Ink on paper autograph card and a gelatin silver print photograph. The card was printed for the Royal Alexandra Infirmary Bazaar fund and includes a signature in ink. The display is professionally mounted in a double-window navy blue mat with orange-toned inner bevels. The photograph shows a half-length portrait of Churchill with a cigar and polka-dot bowtie. The signed card is positioned to the right, featuring printed script above a dotted line. The items are protected in a wood-toned frame with a gilt inner edge and a brown paper-covered verso with a hanging wire. Signed Winston S. Churchill on the card. Frame: 12 1/2" H x 16" W. Bin 21 CONDITION: The signature is legible but exhibits moderate fading to a brown tone. The paper of the card and the photograph shows light, even aging and minor toning. The wooden frame has small surface abrasions and minor nicks. The brown paper backing has several small tears and surface scuffs, though the hanging hardware remains intact.
