3 Crosman and Manhattan Arms Air and Percussion Pistols with Holster Three firearms and air guns featuring a Manhattan Arms percussion pepperbox pistol, a Crosman Model 157 air pistol, and a Crosman Model 38T air revolver. The Manhattan Arms pepperbox is a six-shot percussion firearm with a barrel assembly marked CAST STEEL and NEW YORK. The frame features scroll engraving and is fitted with walnut grips. The Crosman Model 157 is a .177 caliber CO2-powered air pistol featuring a blued finish and marbled cream-colored plastic grips. The Crosman Model 38T is a .22 caliber CO2 revolver with a blued finish and brown wood-grain plastic grips. Accompanying the set is a brown leather holster featuring floral tooling and marked 6 OLIVE 1 on the belt loop. Marked on the Manhattan barrel assembly CAST STEEL and NEW YORK. Largest: 6" H x 10 1/2" L x 1 1/2" W. 10D CONDITION: The Manhattan pepperbox exhibits a dark, aged patina with moderate oxidation and surface pitting on the steel barrel assembly; the engraving remains visible and the walnut grips show minor dings consistent with age. The Crosman Model 157 shows significant surface rust and heavy pitting along the barrel and gas tube, with the marbled grips remaining intact. The Crosman Model 38T retains a high percentage of its blued finish with light edge wear and minor scuffing; the plastic grips are in good condition. The leather holster shows heavy wear, darkening, and surface cracking. Bores and internal mechanical functions have not been tested.
