HOTCHKISS-WILLYS JH101 - YEAR 1955 - 13 CV - 4-seater - Es - 23,788 km An iconic French postwar utility vehicle, the Hotchkiss-Willys JH101 is a French version of the famous American Willys Jeep. Its production helped sustain the Hotchkiss brand, which was then facing difficulties in marketing its high-end automobiles. This 1955 model is notable for being equipped with a gasoline engine, as diesel versions became much more common later on. Its odometer reading is 23,788 km, though this cannot be considered certified. The body and upholstery are in satisfactory overall condition. The instrument panel, however, indicates that further maintenance is needed. The undercarriage appears sound, with no apparent signs of perforating corrosion on the visible components. A thorough inspection of the suspension, axles, bearings, and running gear is nevertheless essential, as these vehicles have often been subject to heavy use. This vehicle requires restoration and is being offered without a technical inspection. The tires and running gear show signs of wear and surface corrosion. A new roof cover is included, along with accessories as shown.
