△ Peter Klasen Born in Lübeck in 1935 Lost Landscape No. 41 / Robinet 2012 Gouache on paper 50 × 70 cm In 2012, Peter Klasen began a new series of works titled “Lost Landscape.” These works were featured in several consecutive exhibitions in Knokke-le-Zoute (Guy Pieters Gallery, 2012), Lyon (Anne-Marie and Roland Pallade Gallery, 2013), and Paris (Strouk Gallery, 2013–2014). The artist aims to highlight the fragility of the human condition—linked to industrial overactivity—through a Pop Art aestheticization of Western urban landscapes in disarray.
