Jacqueline Kennedy and Joseph P. Kennedy (2) Signed Christmas Cards Two tiny Christmas cards sent to JFK's cousin Ann Gargan, including: a White House-era 3.5 x 2 "Christmas Greetings" card featuring a Santa Claus illustration, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint by Jacqueline Kennedy, "To Anne with much love from, Jack & Jackie," with a scribble (presumably the young Caroline's) in the lower right corner; and one of the Kennedy patriarch’s scarce personal calling cards, 3 x 1.5, signed in blue ballpoint, “With all best wishes for a Merry Christmas,” with Kennedy crossing out his printed first name, and signing underneath, “Uncle Joe.” Housed together in an envelope addressed in Jacqueline Kennedy's hand, "Anne Gargan." In overall fine condition. Ann Gargan was JFK’s first cousin, the daughter of Rose Kennedy’s younger sister, Agnes Fitzgerald Gargan. Orphaned at a young age, Ann and her siblings remained closely connected to the Kennedy family, spending considerable time with their cousins at Hyannis Port and other family homes. She later became a devoted caretaker to her uncle, Joseph P. Kennedy, remaining at the former ambassador’s side during the years of disability that followed his 1961 stroke; through her, JFK maintained an especially personal connection to his ailing father.
