DESVERGNES, circa 1850 18k yellow gold pocket watch. Round case. Double hinged snap-back case with an enameled inner back. Enameled dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Breguet-style hands. Mechanical movement. With a small 18k yellow gold chatelaine. Total gross weight: 29.2gr With a later Kirby Beard box. The watch comes with a family certificate (Guy Mouflard) stating that it was reportedly a gift from Empress Eugénie to her dressmaker at the Château de Compiègne.
