THIRTEEN COLLECTIBLE MINERAL AND FOSSIL SPECIMENS Lot consisting of a large piece of native sulfur, a fragment of fossilized coral (Madrepora), two desert roses (gypsum) of different sizes, a cluster of quartz crystals, two small complementary specimens—including a small druse of mottled crystals (chalcedony or aragonite) on matrix—a porous sedimentary fragment, a small open quartz geode lined with sparkling microcrystals, displayed on its original wooden base bearing an old label inscribed: “QUARTZ GEODE / LANDES,” a large iron pyrite crystal displaying beautiful crystallization, a slab of green metamorphic rock (schist or chlorite schist type), three blocks of raw minerals and rock matrices, and a fragment of light-colored sedimentary or vein rock.
