SET OF FOUR ANTIQUE HAMMER HEADS Hand-forged from iron, each with a rectangular or oval hole designed to hold a wooden handle; the hammer heads come in various shapes—rounded, spherical, beveled, flat, or tapered, reflecting their distinct functional uses (striking, wedging, hammering). The surface of each piece, irregularly hammered, bears a dark patina characteristic of antique iron, with traces of surface corrosion attesting to their age. Handcrafted in a blacksmith’s forge using traditional wrought-iron techniques, without ornamentation—a characteristic of utilitarian tools produced in Europe, likely during the early Renaissance period. Largest dimensions: 13 x 6 cm
