1749 - SABONETA POCKET WATCH

SABONETA POCKET WATCH A Saboneta pocket watch made of silver, circa 1890, of Swiss origin. The case is decorated with geometric motifs, and the central medallion is engraved with initials. Dial with black Roman numerals, applied gold decoration, and a subsidiary seconds dial on the side. Double case back; the inner one protects the movement, which can be viewed through a crystal. It features geometric decorations, and in the center is the inscription “Ancre Ligne Droite - Remontoir - Genève.” The outer case back features guilloché decoration. It is topped with a fluted crown. Hand-wound mechanical movement.
