In-12, publisher’s softcover bound in full leather, spine decorated with gold fillets, without dust jacket or Rhodoid cover. The second volume of Anton Chekhov’s Works, bringing together a selection of his stories and short stories, in the French edition of the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade. Volume No. 220 of the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, printed on September 15, 1970, on Bible paper from Papeteries Bolloré by the Darantiere printing house in Dijon. Binding by Babouot in Paris. A copy from the 1970 printing, without a dust jacket or Rhodoid cover. The binding appears to be in good condition, with a few slight signs of wear.
