Workshop of Benedetto da Maiano (1442–1497). Relief depicting Christ crucified between the Virgin Mary and St. John the Evangelist with angels and cherubs in stucco, with a lacquered and painted wooden frame featuring figures of Christ on the predella (h. 65 cm) (defects and breakages). Our panel (formella) is comparable to a bas-relief located in Greve in Chianti (national catalogue code 0900618854), which is illustrated and described in the Catalogo dei Beni Culturali (Catalogue of Cultural Heritage). This bas-relief has been attributed by B. Santi to the workshop of Benedetto da Maiano IT Bottega di Benedetto da Maiano (1442-1497). Rilievo raffigurante Cristo crocifisso fra la Madonna e San Giovanni Evangelista con angeli e cherubini in stucco con cornice in legno laccato e dipinto nella predella con figure di Cristo (h. cm 65) (difetti e rotture) La nostra formella è comparabile ad un bassorilievo che si trova a Greve in Chianti con codice di catalogo nazionale 0900618854 e che compare illustrato e descritto nel Catalogo dei Beni culturali. Tale bassorilievo è stato riferito da B. Santi alla bottega di Benedetto da Maiano
