Brussels manufacture, first half of the 18th century. Probably the workshop of Urbanus Leyniers (1674–1747) and Daniel Leyniers III (1669–1728). Wool and silk tapestry depicting genre scenes in a courtyard with figures and birds, inspired by the style of the painter David Teniers the Younger. Ochre and amaranth-coloured “false frame” border, decorated with floral motifs and Baroque scrollwork in the corners. Dimensions: 290 × 230 cm. (Defects and restorations.)
