Sèvres Manufactory, 1759–1760. Probably painted by André-Vincent Vielliard (1717–1790) Soft-paste porcelain flower vase with stand, known as a “vase hollandais”, polychrome-painted with figures and landscapes within reserves, on a blue ground with gilt borders and decorations. The tapered vase features a composite/sinuous outline, with a separate, shaped, and pierced base. Marked with the blue interlaced "LL" monogram enclosing the date-letter "G" beneath the base (17.5 x 22.5 x 14 cm) (condition flaws / damages). The attribution of the work to André-Vincent Vielliard is supported not only by the masterful application of the enamels and gilding—entirely consistent with the production of the master, who was active at the royal manufactory from 1752 onward—but above all by the presence of his workshop mark. On the underside of the piece, directly above the royal monogram, his subsidiary mark is visible: a horizontal line surmounted by three dots. This graphic element represents the personal mark registered by Vielliard during this phase of his career, prior to his definitive transition to using the letter "V". IT Manifattura di Sèvres, 1759-1760.
