MARIA THERESA OF AUSTRIA (1717-1780). Letters patent of nobility granted on February 24, 1768 to Massimiliano Cesati. Handwritten letters patent of nobility in Latin on vellum, 350x240 mm [Note: presumed typo corrected from 2440 mm to 240 mm], [12] leaves of which 9 are written, the first and last blank, large polychrome coat of arms within the manuscript, leaves with text enclosed within rich scrollwork borders and stylized decorations, signed 'Maria Theresia' at the end, along with other signatories. The manuscript is bound with a golden cord to a red velvet-covered folder with red silk ties; a large wax seal of Maria Theresa of Austria is suspended from the cord, preserved in a round brass box (box d. 8.5 cm, seal d. 7.2 cm) (defects, signs of wear, and losses) IT MARIA TERESA D’AUSTRIA (1717-1780). Patente di nobiltà manoscritta in latino su pergamena, 350x2440 mm, [12] fogli di cui 9 scritti, il primo e l’ultimo bianchi, grande stemma policromo all’interno del manoscritto, fogli con testo inquadrato da ricche cornici a volute e decori stilizzati, firma “Maria Theresia” in fine, assieme a quella di altri sottoscrittori. Il manoscritto è legato con una cordone dorato a una cartella rivestita di velluto rosso con lacci in seta rossa; appeso al cordone grande sigillo in ceralacca di Maria Teresa d’Austria conservato in scatola rotonda di ottone (d. cm 8,5, sigillo d. cm 7,2) (difetti, segni di usura e mancanze)
