758 - Table clock made of galvanized sheet metal/gilded bronze. The case features lavish historicist ornamentation with scrollwork and architectural moldings. The dial, in black enamel with gold Roman numerals and a pearled bezel, bears the signature of the Valencian watchmaker “Genaro Mústieles - Valencia.” The piece is crowned by a sculptural group depicting a medieval knight alongside his steed. On the reverse, the Paris-style movement with hour and half-hour chime bears the stamp of the renowned French watchmaker “S. Marti et Cie.” and engraved numbering. It shows signs of use and a patina consistent with its age.
