"Militaria: WWII/World War II 1939–1945/Bilingual Official Requisition Notice/1940 France (Angers Printing Office)/Notice of Seizure for the Southwest Armaments Inspection/Rüstungsinspektion Südwestfrankreich - Exceptional and rare official bilingual cardboard sign announcing the seizure and freezing of stockpiles, issued by the German occupation authorities at the very beginning of the Occupation of France - Dated in pencil in the upper left corner as August 24, 1940 (24/8/40), attesting to the immediate implementation of economic plundering measures in the summer of 1940. In the upper right corner are the administrative seizure references: Con. No. 221 - 239 - 240 - 247. The German Reich eagle is stamped in the upper center. The lower portion is authenticated by the large, circular, purple official wet stamp of the Rüstungsinspektion Südwest-Frankreich."
