LAPPALAINEN, Ilmari (1918–2006) ASKO (Published by) “Pulkka” armchair and ottoman, with a frame made of flat-bent, anodized aluminum forming a sled-style base. Separate seat and backrest shells, upholstered in white leather with tufted piping, removable and adjustable to three positions, with a movable headrest cushion. Armrests consist of a leather strap stretched between the uprights. The ottoman is of the same construction. Bears two labels on the armchair and ottoman reading “Asko Export - Made in Finland” and the number 53. Circa 1970 H 77.5 cm - W 76 cm - D 85 cm
