FRENCH FURNITURE, 1920–1930 Set of five chairs in walnut with Macassar ebony veneer; slightly sloping, beveled backrest with carved decoration of stylized flowers and foliage; frieze with denticle motif. The front legs are tapered with stepped sections; the rear legs are saber-shaped. The backrest and seat are upholstered in havana leather (showing wear; the leather is cracked). Height: 85.5 cm – Width: 49.5 cm – Depth: 53 cm
