A Silver Foil Mirror, Persia, Circa 1900 Composed of a metal frame clad in silver foil, worked in relief, chased and hand-engraved with floral motifs and the names of the Twelve Tribes against a blue enamel ground (with losses). The upper section bears part of the biblical verse: "And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together." The reverse of the relief is decorated with a floral pattern.
