A Damascene Brass Copper and Silver Inlay and Wood Chest, Syria, ca 1900 Of rectangular form, and the sides inlaid in copper and silver with arabesques, calligraphy and two pairs of Stars of David. Fitted with a hinged lid and fronted with decorative copper lock clasp.
