1915-model mounted hunter’s helmet. Patinated iron helmet with a pointed crown, rivets, and an iron rim. Iron plate; rim stamped “56” and marked “56 5” beneath one of the cockades. Leather and iron chin strap, likely added later. Cockades in the colors of Prussia and the Reich. Later-added light-colored leather inner lining. Repairs to the visor rim. A.B.E.
