Line cavalry saber, Model Year XIII, modified in 1816. Leather-wrapped grip with watermark; stamped brass mountings, numbered; four-pronged guard with three rounded prongs. Straight blade with double fuller; back engraved with remnants of the marking “Klingenthal 9bre 1813.” Point bent back toward the center. Iron sheet scabbard with two bands and a lyre-shaped tip.
