"Chèvrefeuille" Mug "Chèvrefeuille" Jug by Emile Gallé, Nancy, c. 1890. Colorless glass with an amber-colored overlay. Partially cut using the polished "Martelé" technique. Etched decoration all around: honeysuckle flowers and foliage. Flowers rendered in flat-modeled engraving; interior foliage design in deep etching. A freely attached, sculptural tendril overlay serves as the handle. Signed on the bottom (in needle etching): Cristallerie Emile Gallé Modèle et décor Déposé. H. 26.5 cm
