Olivier GAGNERE (Born in 1952) Pair of armchairs, “Café Marly” model, with seats, backs, and armrests upholstered in coral-colored velvet. They rest on four varnished wooden legs in a tubular shape, with metal feet and ring decorations on the backs of the seats. H. 82 W. 53 cm Signs of wear and stains The “Marly” armchair model was created in 1994 for the Café Marly at the Louvre Museum. With its timeless lines inspired by Art Deco, the “ring” armchair was an immediate success and remains emblematic of a certain French chic.
