Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005): 'Follia pianistica', four-colour screen print, with dedication, dated 1988 Work: ca. 36 x 31 cm Paper: 64 x 49,5 cm Frame: 66,5 x 51,5 cm 'Follia Pianistica' is a famous 1988 artwork by the renowned Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon. It features his signature surrealist style, depicting piano keys transformed into vertical architectural elements or pillars against a soft, atmospheric background. The work was released, among other things, as a poster for concerts or cultural purposes (such as for the International Association for Maternal and Neonatal Health). The work offered here is special, as it was personally dedicated by the artist with coloured pencils: 'A tonton Etienne, Michel Ange, le 24 janvier 1989'.
