As one of the leading figures in 20th-century Situationist art, Pinot Gallizio developed a radically experimental language based on the freedom of gesture and the transcendence of traditional artistic forms. Her work stems from a desire to transcend the conventional boundaries of the painting, relying on the spontaneity of the creative process and the power of the imagination. Gallizio’s continuous experimentation with techniques, materials, and artistic languages is intertwined with a profound theoretical framework, to the point where it becomes difficult to separate artistic practice from life itself. Painting thus becomes an open and vital space, free from conventions, in which gesture, material, and thought converge to construct a new concept of art. Frame included
