A superb and genuine pair of stretcher-bearer satchels, marked “K” for “Krankenträger.” Made of brown, woven, and coated ersatz material, brown leather straps and hinges, with the manufacturer’s mark—“KARL BARTH WALDBRÖL 1917”—on a belt loop on each bag, and the letters L or R (for left and right) on the tabs of the rings. Under the lids, the contents labels are present and in good condition. The ersatz removal straps are present on the left satchel, but not on the right. Satchels are empty.
