218 - German M16 Stahlhelm helmet manufactured by Lindenberg. A beautiful helmet with most of its dark feldgrau paint intact. Lindenberg manufacturer’s logo on the helmet shell; size illegible—62 or 64. Original 1917-model metal headband attached; rivets have never been removed. Liner with its three white leather panels, showing signs of wear and perspiration, complete with laces and padding, in its original condition. Patina and normal wear. German M1916 Stahlhelm by Lindenberg. Fine helmet retaining most of its dark field-gray paint. Lindenberg bell maker’s logo, size illegible, possibly 62 or 64. Original 1917-pattern iron liner band and undisturbed rivets. Three white leather liner panels showing wear and perspiration, with lace and cushions. Wear and patina.
